Childhood is an important time for children to learn and develop the skills they need to grow up healthy. As a parent you can help by limiting the amount of your child's screen time; helping them make healthy food choices; and encouraging them to spend more time playing.

Car crashes kill more children than anything else. Seat belts save lives, but a seat belt that doesn't fit properly will not protect your child in a crash. Every child needs to be in a car seat and then a booster seat until the seat belt fits right. Typically, seat belts fit when a child is about 4 feet 9 inches tall.
