  • Biography

    Michelle Sakoda received her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo in 2004 and cared for patients of all ages before moving to Washington. She joined the Seattle Children's surgical unit team in 2007, caring for pediatric patients who have undergone orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urologic surgeries, otolaryngology, and general surgeries. Michelle received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Washington Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program in June 2015 then joined the Emergency Medicine team at Seattle Children's.  In 2021, Michelle transitioned to the Urology department caring for pediatric patients with urologic issues in the inpatient setting, urology clinic and Spina Bifida clinics.
