Biography
S. Heath Ackley, MD, MS is an attending physician in the emergency department at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Columbia University and his MS in Medical Sciences from New York Medical College. He is completing an MPH at the University of Washington.
He completed his residency followed by a year as Chief Resident at the University of California in San Francisco, then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and holds PALS and ATLS certifications. Ackley is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as the AAP section on Emergency Medicine. He is the Co-Course Director of Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals.
