Biography

Dr. Leslie Dervan is an attending physician in the Seattle Children’s Hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She attended medical school at Harvard Medical School and completed pediatric residency in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Children’s Hospital Boston, followed by pediatric critical care fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital and an MS degree in epidemiology at the University of Washington.

Dr. Dervan is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Washington, where her research focuses on neurologic conditions in critically ill children and the effects of sedation management, sleep, and ICU delirium on outcomes following critical illness. This research work supports her areas of clinical expertise including pediatric neurocritical care, critical care pharmacology, sedation management, and optimizing recovery for critically ill children.
