    Dr. Lindsey Morgan joined Seattle Children's in September 2016. Dr. Morgan attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where she received her BS in Anthropology-Zoology. She completed medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and subsequently did her residency in Pediatrics at Phoenix Children's Hospital/Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. She returned to the Midwest to complete Child Neurology residency and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in Chicago, IL.

    Her experiences in Chicago led her to develop a passion for inpatient neurology work. She focuses her clinical care on the neuro-critical care and general neurology services, along with ICU EEG. She is fortunate to participate in outreach clinic in several sites in Alaska and is currently co-leading a Comprehensive Care in Pediatric Epilepsy ECHO focused on rural, low resource primary care providers.

    Research Description

    I focus my research on improving the treatment and outcomes of pediatric patients with status epilepticus, utilizing my experience in Quality Improvement, neuro-critical care, and epilepsy.

    My published research draws from multiple disciplines (epilepsy, emergency medicine, critical care, neurology). I have received multiple internal grants focused on our Seizure Pathway of which I am co-owner. I have additional training in Quality Improvement and through my QI work to decrease time to electroencephalogram (EEG) in patients with status epilepticus (SE), I received the 2022 American Academy of Neurology QI Innovation award. I have been invited to speak locally, regionally within our WWAMI region, and nationally.
