Grief and Loss / Journey Program

The Journey Program provides grief support for families whose child has died.

Services We Offer

• Immediate or ongoing crisis intervention, grief support and counseling to parents, siblings and extended family
• Support groups for parents, facilitated by trained volunteers and mental health professionals
• Grief support to schools and communities
• Referrals and information about other grief support programs in Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho
• Bereavement education and training for the community

Seattle Children's provides health care for the special needs of children regardless of race, sex, creed, ethnicity or disability. Financial assistance for medically necessary services is based on family income and hospital resources and is provided to children under age 21 whose primary residence is Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.
