Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
We are a 20-bed unit. We diagnose and treat children between the ages of 2 and 17 who suffer from complex psychiatric conditions.
We offer programs dedicated to hearing-impaired children, children and adolescents with eating disorders.
We provide consultative assistance to the Emergency Department and a consult service to all medical and surgical patients.

Parent participation is critical to all aspects of care and vital to the successful return of the child to their home, school and community.
We encourage parents to participate in the services provided by Children's Inpatient Psychiatry Unit and hospital staff. These include individual and group parent education sessions and family evaluations and treatment.
