Children's Protection Program
The Children's Protection Program (CPP) coordinates Children's aim to help prevent family violence issues. Members of the CPP work to:
- Ensure the health and safety of every child that comes to Children's
- Assist families in getting help if child abuse and/ or neglect and/or domestic violence are issues
- Educate staff and community on family violence issues
- Promote the prevention of child abuse and neglect
Services
- See abuse and neglect cases and refer to providers at Children's or in the community.
- Train providers on child abuse and neglect issues.
- Provides opportunities to learn more on issues of abuse and neglect.
Programs
When and How to Report Child Abuse and Neglect
If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, file a report with the Dept of Social and Health Services/Child Protection Services (DSHS/CPS).
