The CCTR attracts and supports current and future leaders in the design and conduct of pediatric clinical research studies. Under the direction of Drs. Carrie Heike and Margaret Rosenfeld, the CCTR is home to more than 400 research faculty and staff members from more than 30 pediatric subspecialties.

  • Margaret Rosenfeld, MD, MPH

    Margaret Rosenfeld, MD, MPH

    Professor and Associate Vice-Chair for Clinical Research, Department of Pediatrics

    Dr. Margaret Rosenfeld's research focuses on the assessment and treatment of early CF lung disease, including infant and preschool lung function tests, determining risk factors for early acquisition of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and clinical trials in infants with CF. She is also an investigator in a national network investigating rare disorders of mucociliary clearance, including primary ciliary dyskinesia.

  • Carrie L Heike, MD, MS

    Carrie L Heike, MD, MS

    Dr. Heike is currently a co-prinipal investigator on a multi-center study to develop an instrument to assess caregiver's obeservations of health status in infants with clefts of the lip. She also works on multiple projects to investigate the etiology and clinical outcomes for individuals with craniofacial microsomia. She also has a particular interest in developing partnerships and using novel methods to enhance interdisciplinary team science.
